SWAT MAPS is pleased to welcome NordÄng Agronomy as a new partner based in Fairview, Alberta.
Founded in 2026 by Josefine Bartlett, NordÄng Agronomy is a new agronomy company focused on helping farmers across Peace Country make confident, informed management decisions. With experience spanning farming, retail, and agricultural education, Bartlett brings a well-rounded perspective to the challenges and opportunities growers face every season.
Bartlett’s decision to become a SWAT MAPS partner began on her family farm. After implementing SWAT MAPS, she saw firsthand how the technology helped explain field variability and uncover opportunities that may have otherwise gone unnoticed.
"Using SWAT MAPS on our own farm was eye-opening. It helped put field variability into perspective in a way that was practical and actionable,” said Bartlett. “Having watched the technology evolve over the years, I saw the value it could bring to other growers as well. It's a tool that works, and it helps farmers make sense of the challenges they deal with every day."
When asked what sets NordÄng Agronomy apart, Bartlett points to the breadth of experience she brings to every farm she works with.
"I'm involved in agriculture from all sides: farm, retail, and education through the whole system. There's a lot outside of our control, but that's where I focus: Helping farmers understand the variability within their fields so they can make informed decisions and get the most value from every input dollar. When fertilizer prices rise, for example, it's more important than ever to ensure every pound is placed where it can deliver the greatest return.”
We are excited to welcome NordÄng Agronomy to the SWAT MAPS network and look forward to supporting farmers together across Peace Country.
